Hotel Most Acceptable Ann Arbor

10.20

Hotel Most Acceptable, Ann Arbor.

The sun is shining & the sky is blue. A beautiful fall morning, somewhat brisk & my scarf in use for the first time.

In England, T has been on Andrew Marr, the Sunday morning (mainly) political tv programme with heavy hitters. This is significant. In my own world, an e-mail to The Agency regarding the performance offers from Italy.

Lobby call with Hellboy Tom at 12.00: Hellboy Limos are chauffeuring me to Cleveland. Au revoir University Inn…

16.02 Flannery’s Pub, Cleveland.

Increasingly, I see people in cafes wearing headphones. My hunch is that this is to keep out the music/tv on offer, rather than to listen to personal-choice music. I believe this to be because nearly all the sonic provision in public places is inappropriate and/or unsuitable. I believe this to be true for all, because it is true for me. Most likely, in future I shall myself carry i–Pod & noise-cancelling headphones into public places.

21.06 A supportive, generous audience although with the usual difficulties of a standing rock club (with upstairs seating). Our slideshow is working again. No idea of how it was.

All Quarters’ Maintainer: Tom.

Soon, a drive to somewhere near Columbus en route to Cincinatti.
